Unknown pirate faction.

These alien pirates have an array of lethal ships all designed to work together in a fleet to annihilate their targets.

Tauri.

Humans from the planet Earth. They are called the Tauri by the rest of the galaxy however. Their main presence is represented by the United States Air Force which also utilizes discovered technology to produce ships varying from fightercraft to large Battlecruisers.

The Thrasher is really nice! It looks very pirate-y and the warhead is a nice addition. Now we only need some kamikaze/torpedo AI...

The fifth and final ship needed to qualify for the current pirate ship contest is under construction. It may look to big to be a nice pirate to fight but its size is not related to it's weaponry. It will be a Pirate Looter a ship that carries much of the pirates raid loot and acts as a mobile base of sorts. It will have turrets and ion based weapons.

Pirate Looter. The Loot Hauler and makeshift mobile base of the pirates. A bit heavy but not to powerful. Rounds out the set with ion rockets.

Ok so guys I have some really neat stuff now.

I've built two bigger Frigate size ships one is for the pirates and the other for the USAF.

First we have the Pirate Enforcer. The backbone of the Pirate's navy. It's equipped with a hearty helping of everything.


Here's a full list

• Permanent Jamming Capability
• Jump Drive (1540 blocks strong)
• Jump Inhibitor (1000 blocks strong)
• Scanning Array (1061 blocks strong)
• Rapid firing cannon array with 79% ion effect
• Vicious beams with 92% explosive effect
• Lock-On Missiles
• USD Type-1 Docks (Basic no fancy logic)
• 3 "Hatchet" Missile Turrets
• 3 "Shortbow" Beam Turrets
• 6 "Shiv" PD Turrets
• Interior space

Second we have the C-301. (C for corvette) I challenged myself to build something similar to the classic BC-304 without looking at any reference material I think the result is really great! It has a pretty unique hull detailing and some other goodies including two easter eggs!


It has similar weaponry to the Enforcer

• Permanent Jamming Capability
  
• USD Type-1 Docks (Basic no fancy logic)
  
• 4 F-303s
• Powerful Asgard Beam Weapons with 37% explosive
• Rapid fire railgun with 71% ion
• 2 Lock-On Rocket arrays that launch from the top
• Interior
• Jump Drive (1088 blocks strong)

I don't have turrets built for the C-301 yet but expect them soon.

Sorry for the lack of posting guys.

After noticing this thread I decided I was going to do some of my own Trading Guild builds. My first ship is just a refit of the Isanth Type-Zero Cc.

It is pretty close to the Pirate Thrasher in terms of viability trading warheads for thicker hull and rockets for a PD Turret Mount.

• Semi-Permanent Jamming Capability (Firing the weapons can deplete the power capacitors.)
  
• USD Type-1 Dock (Basic no fancy logic)
  
• Semi-Rapid Fire Quad Guns
• Top Mounted Turret Docking Point

I came up with a pretty cool idea. Presenting the Micro Freighter!

While it looks pretty lame and boxy it has an awesome trick up it's sleeve!

It can be extended with extra "segments" that can feature an array of capabilities from extra cargo space to an entire defensive turret segment!
It is already available in it's non-extended base model here

I rated your thing

I just listed things to improve on in the rating, but I felt like I should of mentioned the things I liked:
-The segments was a cool idea, props for that.
-I really like the engines and the intakes. Brown was a good touch, and the texturing there is good. Maybe add some radiators or vents with mesh wedges and light underneath.
-I like the forcefields between sections, felt like moving from traincar to traincar :P
