    A decoy core would be a single block that appeared on radar like a regular core while masking the orriginal core signal.

    Each decoy core would use power like the existant radar jammer blocks, but would use much less so that they would be feasible on small or massive ships where you either cannot generate enough power, or you are way too heavy to use jammers. Power usage would scale with weight.

    I know that you can do this with multiple docked cores, but those take up lots of space and are not feasible for ships that arent huge.

    AMCs scale linearly. Shields inverse exponentiell.

    On huge ships, one can eat through nearly infinite hull blocks and shields in less than 15 seconds (ships with more than a million blocks).





    Also the core is the center of ship rotation. How hard is it to just guess it\'s position - not to mention if you know the blueprint... (you can\'t move cores easily on medium or larger ships).
