Klaxxian Imperial Empire is a Free democracy dedicated to peace through force. New ideas are embraced and traditions are never forgotten. All have a fair chance in Klaxxian society, where all education and training is funded by the Government. The Klaxxian Imperial Fleet, patrols our systems with superiority, on guard to keep our enemies at bay.

Classes

1. Vertigon

The Vertigon of Klaxxian Imperial Empire or Chancellor Is the highest position of power one may receive in the Klaxxian imperial Empire. The Vertigon oversees all of the naval activities of the fleet. His / Her main duty is to maintain the power of the Supreme Council and keep the peace among his / her peoples. Failure of this task is punishable by dishonorable discharge and banishment to a foreign planet where he / she will spend the remainder of his / her days in a 100 meter deep 20x20 well. The Vertigon is expected to be present in major battles on board the Imperial flagship where he / she will directly command the path of battle. The Vertigon's vote counts as 45% of the ballot and he / she may only use this vote if he / she deems the reason in violation of the Supreme Law. Vertigon serves until death

*Over 100 hours of combat experience and a 80% Council vote are required to achieve this position

2. Surill

The Surill is the second in command. The Surill's duty is to oversee the political and internal affairs of the entire empire. The Surill is a political celebrity and is to make many public appearances to boost moral. The Surill has the power to create new laws as long as it is approved by the Vertigon and the Supreme Council. The Surill's vote counts as 40% of the ballot. Surill serves for 5 years

3. Supreme Council.

The Supreme Council is in charge of the entire Empire. It consists of representatives from various planets and star systems, High ranking officials of the Navy, and governors of sister factions under the control of the Klaxxian Imperial Empire. The Supreme Council controls the local and foreign governments to keep the Empire organised. The Council has the ability to single-handedly vote various officials out of office for treason.

*Must be voted into office by the Citizens

4. Kaion

The Kaion is what the Supreme Council largely consists of. The Kaion's control local districts and represent the star system they originate from. the Kaion remains in office for 2 years

Citizen class

1. All citizens are equal and have no more power than the other.

2. Miners.

Miners are the sweat and blood of the Klaxxian empire, they supply it with the resources it needs to keep its mighty war machine running.

3. Explorers.

Explorers go hand and hand with the miners. They are to discover new resources and set up outpost so that the miners can collect them.

4. Builders/ designers.

The main job of a builder is to supply the Navy with new battle ready ships, and to construct the cities of the Empire. The Designers are to create new technology and weapons to give our fleet the edge in battle that will mean victory for the Klaxxian Imperial Empire.

Just out of interest, in the politics branch of your factin, if you're second in command (suril) then who's leader?

Also good luck, I like it how nowadays people take making a faction seriously with nice descriptions and proper rank systems and all.

Thanks, and the Surill is the political leader, He never sees much or any action on the field. He is in charge of the interior affairs of the empire, as-well as negotiations.

The Vertigon, is a Military leader. He does have some control over the government, but most of his power resides in the Navy. He is like the commander and chief.

the reason for the two positions is to make the work load easier on the two. The Surill can focus all of his energy on the internal affairs, and the Vertigon can focus on the navy and warfare.
