The ship has 16 light weight turrets that hover near he ship and can rotate a full 360 on all 3 axis.
There is also a pair of dumbire and pair of heat seeking missiles.
Turret base is mounted below the ships hull so receives the full protection of the ships shielding and armor till they no longer exist.
The shield and power are boosted with a dockable system.
Shielding is improved with ion effect.
There is also 25% punch through protection.
Along with radar jamming.
I'm sure this design can be improved upon and probably will be at sometime.
