CVE Shipyard's first major project

Here's my first major project. I have no idea about class structure or anything like that, but here's my "quite large ship class" ship, the Discovery. I had been operating out of a station I build, but I got tired of always having to keep track of where home was. So, I decided to make a large-scale exploration vessel (hence the name) that could dock my salvage and other smaller ships and serve as a mobile home base.



I still have some (all) detail work to do, but it's otherwise fully functional, so I thought I would post it and see what you guys think of the "plain" version.



Stats:

Mass: 13,367.9

Dimensions: L=216m, H=81m, W=82m

Power: 1,007,167.5 total storage/1,066,619.8 e/sec regen

Thrust: 24,099.4

Shields: 81,920 total/16,384 s/sec regen

4x large scale AMC batteries

8x each heat-seaking and locking missile batteries

30 turret docks (I know.. :P I'm going to be restructuring the turrets, docks, and locations)
