Controller systems not linking with ship core

I am currently having this problem with the controller systems (weapon and salvage). The problem is they do not connect to the ship core I placed down and there is no coloured box surrounding the controller. This started after I reset the universe.



I've tried multiple solutions such as re-resetting the universe, doing the tutorial again and destroying/replacing the ship core. Anyone help?

Press C on the computer and V on the matching weapons/salvage.

If the core wont detect the weapon system after you have linked the weapon computer with the weapon blocks then remove the weapons and computer. You then need to make sure you are in build mode when replacing the computer and weapons otherwise the ship wont seem to detect the weapon computer (its an extremely annoying bug and does not happen 100% of the time).
