Here is the basic idea: Add more computers to access galaxy map nav menu radio etc and allow more linkages from computers to display modules.
First the extra computers: basically these would access some functions like the galaxy map and others listed above either from within the core or shown on a display module.
The display modules linkages: These would allow a more immersive experience for crewed ships allowing you to control and monitor all systems of the ship, even separated into sub systems eg. you could create power reactors linked to a power management computer and monitor(s) allowing you to say, send all the power to the capacitor computer that could in turn prioritize capacitor bank _ or allow you to access and send radio transmissions. These features would only for the most part be accessible in multiplayer with a crew could be disabled in a config and provide slight but not game-breaking advantages.
