May seem like a really simple suggestion, but after playing this game (and really enjoying it) for the past couple days, I found that while in space with 15 or so similarly colored arrows all around you, it if very easy to get disoriented and forget which direction you are facing. If you are just trying to fly in a direction, and not at a object in particular, it is very hard to steadily face said direction.
What I suggest is that a simple, slightly transparent, and "Non-Selectable" N/E/S/W are added to the viewport in the same fashion arrows/markers are assigned to objects. They would remain stationary and locked on to their respective direction, no matter the player movement, allowing the player to travel north by simply orienting the "N" in the middle of the screen and moving towards it.
This simple addition would make navigating the outstanding universe of StarMade all the easier.
Thanks,
