Colt heavy Industries
A New Way Out
Colt Heavy Industries is the new face of the Rogue Swarm shipyards.
Recent events have dictated a change in name and new ways in ship construction
have been adopted. We here at CHI welcome this new future and hope it proves
fruitful for all.
Notice: Currently CHI is not accepting requests for ships. We here at CHI would like to offer our apologies. With the recent changes in the faction requests cannot be taken or filled currently. We would like to make a whole new stock of ships and turrets of new construction before we take requests. Otherwise they may be pushed aside and forgotten about.
New Arrivals
Chi has been quite busy churning out new ships and other items of use.
Technicus Frigate
Mass: 19,426 (Blocks: 168,895
Size: 190l x 54h x 74w
Shielding: 1,919,655 @ 184,360 s/sec W/ 60% Ionization
Thrust: 14,686
Armor HP: 3,968,600
Structural HP: 10,759,570
Jump: 7 default sectors
Description: The first ship completed after the formation of CHI the Technicus is a all-purpose toolbox. It comes striped of all drones and turrets and must be fitted to the user's desire. Default models come armed with a central hangar for small drones, a frontal hangar for larger drones and a lower hangar for a single larger drone or used as a repair bay. Unarmed by default it comes with a shield supply beams, shield drain beams energy drain beams and salvage beams. The front hangar can be rigged and closed off to hold weapons if desired or used as a cargo hold. The simplistic boxy design of the Technicus was most intentional. Its flat areas found all over the ship are perfect candidates for supporting turrets. One Technicus in our shops held 48 turrets before the vodka ran out. Turrets can be supplied by the purchaser or via CHI although we recommend making your own. This ship isn't meant for a "Buy and Fly" type thing it's more meant for those who want a moderate sized ship that can be fitted to their liking.
Harkonnen Turret
Description: If you've ever watch a certain anime abridged series (or even the original) you know where this turret's namesake comes from. 20k+ damage from each of its 3 barrels every 3.4 seconds and rigged with explosive rounds it serves as a potent Anti-Material weapon. As shown by the ballistic test gel below the turret (with 2 layers of advanced armor in front to simulate a light ship hull) it rips up material with ease. Recommend pairing with anti-shield turrets. Sitting at 13,028 blocks, a mass of 3,340.7 and a turret trunk 21 blocks across needing a turret mount 13-14 blocks deep its one of our biggest turrets. Future ships such as cruisers and battleships will sport the Harkonnen. There may or may not be a ship in the experimental department under construction sporting 28 of these... i really need to keep the R&D department away from the bar.
Currently Brewing
Electronic Warfare Cruiser
Heavy Carrier
Various Turrets
Various Drones
Cruisers
Corvettes
Frigates
Battleships
And the current big project the Bodiam Titan Battleship
Cant give too much away now can we?
