I apologize ahead of time if this has already been addressed, but is there any way we can get some simple chat commands so we don't have to open the big chat window every time we want to say something?
For example: General Chat- /g (message)
Faction Chat- /f (message)
Local (sector)- /l (message)
Each command would set your default chat destination to that channel until you changed it.
It's a simple chat system that I've seen in may other games and it would greatly help so that we don't have a big chat window in the way blocking our view as we're typing.
