Changing User name for Multiplayer

hi,can you change your user name on a server without starting as a new player?

i want to change my user name in-game to match my forum name but am unsure to how this system works.

also i wana know if you can log on from other computers as the same player.

No you cant change it and start as the same player

And yes you can log onto your account from another computer :D aslong as your uplinked. (How else do you think people get on other peoples accounts. They dont walk over to your house to play as you! they do it in there basement or wherever)

then is it possible to change faction leadership to my new name if im the only member?
