since turrets are \"docked\" ships this implies you can\'t dock ships with turrets, too.

Here is what it means, if you have a Turret, or another ship docked to the current ship you are trying to dock, it will say \"Chain docking isn\'t implemented (yet)\" meaning they already have plans of making chain docking a function, or have it already done just isn\'t implemented for Open Alpha.

Please note Turrets need Turret Docks, meaning they are Docked as well and do count as a docking ship/item making it multi docking to dock a ship with turrets.

Attempting to dock a ship carrying turret-dock-attached turrets to a normal dock (space station, planetary base) results in the \"Chain docking is not implemented\" message being given.



Feature fix request!

It is not only extremely irritating to re-dock every turret after ejecting but also somewhat mind-frying as you have to re-activate every AI module after you\'ve sat in the core. I don\'t even see why this happens as I thought the AI controlled weapons mostly?

It\'s already stated in the error message that it\'s going to be implemented, have some patience. Use a hangar in the meantime, they will keep your ship safe and secure just as well as a dock.
