Can't get back inside the core

This has happened to me multiple times:

Scenario One - In build mode adding on to my ship, but when I try to get out with R (which is still the binded key) it won't let me out. I have to restart the game no matter what I try. I've even tried different key bindings.

Scenario Two - I exit my ship to go get some materials and come back to find out that I can't get back inside my core with R. I tried the same things as scenario one.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I went out of the ship to get supplies like you, but I can\'t get back in no matter what I do! Can you look for a way to solve this problem?

I\'ve seen this happen many times myself. My server is run off a second machine on my network so I can watch the window as I play. When this happens the console will show the request to leave or enter the core but for whatever reason will not respond to the client. There is no extra load on the server and the console isn\'t spamming anything but the request to enter/leave a core. It will eventually respond but it takes like 5 minutes before it does anything.
