When I try to change the output of a repair or salvage beam, i do see the beam coming out of where I want it to. However, when I release the button, a second beam comes out of the original block for about a second after. Also the beams seem to aim parallel to where I'm aiming. That means if I have the shooting block 2 blocks above my core, the beam will hit everything 2 blocks above where I am aiming. That makes sense if you have multiple beams and you want to cover a big area.

But the actual problem is, whatever block I set to be the output, it will LOOK like the beam came from there when it actually isn't, so I always have to aim somewhere next to what I want to hit, depending on where the beam ACTUALLY comes out of..

So my repair plane is about 5 blocks wide and i obviously want the output to be in the middle and directly in front of the core. If I don't change anything, the beam will come out of the very left one, no matter how much longer or further in the front the middle block is. Now when I aim at a block, a block to the left will be repaired. I tried to set the output to the middle on. the beam comes out of the block, that I want it to, but the block repaired remains the same.. left of where I'm aiming -.-

It seems setting the output for repair and salvage beams is only visually -.-
