Can't change email address/need "Activation Code"?

I am about to lose access to the email login for Starmade. When I try to update my email address it gives an error: "The activation code provided is incorrect."

So, how do I get an "Activation Code"?

I linked it to steam, so I won't lose game access if/when it gets fixed so that I can play again, but I need to be able to change the email on the forums.

Edit: Problem solved!
You have (while logged in) to click on "Registry" then click on the profile icon in the upper right and click on "edit profile" and then you can enter and confirm your new email address.
