Cannot import ships!

Whenever i import a .sment file, the game only recieves a folder with the name of the file, but nothing in it.

I also have problems importing anything. I\'ve even tried workarounds uising zipfiles to no avail, I assume this is a glitch of some kind as not everyone gets this problem. I\'d really love to look around some ships people have posted the downloads for but importing is just not working right now.
