Can play singleplayer, but not multiplayer (Fixed)

Hi, I'm having a problem where I can play single player, but if I try to join a multiplayer server It says "Server is either down, blocking, or the address is wrong". Is there any way I can fix this?

Check if you firewall lets SM pass and check if you need portforwarding for your router.
