Can only fire two Anti Matter Cannons at a time?

    Are you only able to fire two at any one time, or can you fire more? I have more than two linked to a weapons computer.

    you can fire as many as you got hooked up... just dont have them touching face by face if you want more than one...

    X = Anti Matter Cannon Block

    O = Hull Block



    XXOXX (This is only 2 cannons, not 4, because theres 2 cannons touching)

    XOXOX(This is 3 cannons, because 2 cannons faces are not touching)

    XXOXX Is more damage per shot because there is more cannon blocks touching.

    XOXOX Is just 1 block for each cannon, good for area of effect damage. not good for peircing hulls and shields.

    I\'m having trouble as well, I have a group of 4 set up, on the corners of a cross

    Make sure that both

    A) They are not linked at all to eachother

    and

    B) They are linked to the weapon CPU.



    A) is easy, just make sure they don\'t touch

    B) is also easy, make sure when you have the Weapon CPU selected (\"C\") the AMCs have a purple outline. If they don\'t, hold SHIFT and press \"V\" on them to add them to the Weapon CPU.

    i am having the same issue. i know how cannons work etc etc but if i have too many single cannons rigged to one computer they do not work
    i have arranged them in checker pattern so that only corners touch but only one cannon will fire, and it fires from an \"invisible\" cannon that is not actually there
    is this a bug?

    will supply very soon, was doing some testing with missile pods, i made two sets of the same pattern and one worked flawlessly whilst the other did the same thing my cannons are doing. it seems the right side of my ship is tainted with onefiredesise

    That was pretty hard to read, and understand, but could you show exactly how the AMC\'s are arranged and attached (purple outline) to the computer? Picture of the Weapon Menu with the AMC CPU selected would be good as well.



    To fix the random location they shoot from, exit the ship and press \"R\" on the block you want it to fire from.

    that at the moment cannons and missles are still a bit of crazy. there has been a updat recently inthat you can maualy change the uotput to be any block you want for that block-group. an other thing is that if you place your cannons to far back they dont actualy fire for some odd reason.

    also if they use to much power it might also do nothing, and still might no show anyhing.
    it might be something else also, but in general ocasions all corectly set up waepons should be able to fire at once.

    Its really hard to tell whats going on from that picture, if you scroll down through the weapons computer does it show them all with the same damage (25.3) or are some different?

    Also you appear to have two weapon computers, what is attached to each?

    Also why do you have so many single arrays on such a large ship?



    Have you tried setting the output point on each?

    it does show them with all the same stats. i have two weapons computers because one is linked to a big gun the other linked to all these individual moduels. i will try setting every individual output point very soon
    oh, and i have so many single cannons because one 900dmg shot takes out one block but eight 25dmg shots takes out two blocks

    setting each individual output worked, but you really do have to set every single one.

    the problem is that you built them on the x,z plane, and they have no line of sight out of the hull - when i build such enclosed guns, the same happens. make them on the y,z plane (the front-facing one) and remove the hull infront of the plane.

    or, as you did, set the output by hand ;)
