Can I get some more info on upcoming aliens/creatures?

Could I get some info on the upcoming creatures/aliens?
Like:

1. Will the aliens have ships to add variety to enemies in space?
2. Is there going to be mountable creatures or pets?
3. Should I get my base ready for invasions from aliens in some special way? Like, will they break my stuff?

That's about all, if a Dev could answer I would really appreciate it.

Oh and: 4. Will there be some new good ships that maybe can have shops on them somehow that would be like a mobile trading guild and visit planets? (This is an idea of mine and is not really based on and info I have heard, so please don't make it into a rumor people [:P] )
