Camera In build mode

Is there anyway to change the camera to free look? I really hate when im pivoting on one spot and i cant even look down..... it becomes frustrating.

I love this game but will quit if this cant be fixed i hate turning to get a better view and ending up staring into space......I feel this pivoting camera just creates too much hassle when trying to work in tight places. Does anyone else feel this way? this makes building an extreme hassle someone please help
