BSOD

Now what happens is i can be do anything in the game, like mining or just flying around and boom got a blue screen. Now I been editing my settings like my memory and graphics settings. I even took away stars and other stuff on my settings.cfg and server.cfg. and still didn't help. I asked a buddy of mine and he said it could be over heating my computer and might need a program to cool it so i can play it, and i did use to a progam like that to play bf4 . But i can run bf4 great but just over heats my computer i thought. But i changed everything to low as possible so its not my graphics stuff. So how should i fix this blue screen of death?
