    Player rolling:

Exactly what it sounds like, hold the roll button while out of a ship to roll as if in a ship. While in gravity, the player would roll along the ground.

    Armor:

Adding either a part of the inventory or a seperate tab for pieces of armor to be equiped in, with seperate slots for different parts, such as chest, head, legs, arms, feet, etc. Each armor slot would have a menu, similar to the ship's weapons menu, which would be used to set keybinds to activate various systems in the armor (more on that later). There would also be an item that would be impossible to get rid of that would appear as soon as the player equips gauntlets, which would allow the player to use their gauntles as a weapon, (punching) as well as activating gauntlet systems with aiming. (For example, you might be wearing a set of armor with artificial gravity in the boots, blades attached to the gauntlets, and miniature scavenger beams in the gauntlets. You would open a menu to set a keybind for the artificial gravity, which you could toggle at any time, and you would have an item to use your gauntlets, which would cause you to punch with leftclicking, and you would open a menu to bind the miniature salvage beams to rightclick, while the blades would passively make punching more lethal.) The player would see the part of the armor in front of the face, making glass vizors or cameras a necessity. If a suit of armor was not enclosed and did not have a shield on all body parts, the player would asphyxiate when not in a ship or on a planet. (A block would be added to generate atmospheres on/around structures such as stations and shops, as well as player made motherships/carriers.)

    And finally, item customization:

You would be able to create weapons and armor from the ground up, or edit existing/premade (bought from a store) ones. You would use scaled down versions of larger blocks, such as hulls, shield genrators, and cannons, to build your armor on a static/scale model of the player, with active systems requiring power and computers, much liek a ship. Most blocks would be able to be made into armor, with effects only slightly differing based on position, such as artificial gravity causing you to be subject to gravity corresponding to your "up" when put on boots, but, for example, allowing you to pick up/throw blocks when put on gloves. (other example effects for blocks would be engines acting as jetpacks, docking modules allowing you to build shoulder-mounted cannons, shields protecting the player's entire body from one position or creating energy blades on gauntlets, etc.) Natural blocks, such as lava, would not be able to be broken down, but there would be special blocks for armor only, such as cameras that would allow the player to have a modified FoV. (Cameras would be connected to a special part, the projector/screen, which would require being selected by with a camera like a computer, the camera would then display what would be seen through it in the selected area. For example, the player could have two cameras on armor, one in front of a helmet and one in back, and conenct the front one to the top half of a screen in their visor, and the back one to the bottom half of the same screen, to see in front of them at the top of their vision, and behind them in the bottom of their vision.)

Weapons would be created in a way similar to that of armor, except the player would choose a weapon type, such as gun or sword, which would determine what some parts would do (shield as a blade, or as a bullet upgrade) and how the weapon was held.

    Items would be nameable.

Those are my suggestions, I hope someone finds them interesting, needed, or inspiring!

    rolling? yes please.

armor, yes please but it has to be a different slot system then minecraft, like: head, backpack(personal storage), torso, hands, shoulders, pants, shoes and maybe a belt....

holdable slots: a single light/normal/heavy weapon slot (pistol/rifle/hand cannon) and a single device/usable item slot (ore detector/drill/grapling hook?) so 2 in total. (2 hands 2 slots XD)

item customization.... maybe later on....first get this into the game XD

I would change \"rolling\" to \"rotating\". It makes more sense and is a bit clearer. And yes I would like that in the game

Basically my idea for armor was that it would be similar to a ship that you would wear, with block effects changing depending on location, and weapons would basically be an item component of armor, so you could change them and activate them more easily... I\'m also kinda thinking that there should be a way to target players in ships, making boarding a possibility.

No roll is the correct term. There are three bacic movements in three dimensional maneuvering. Pitch is tilting the nose up or down. Yaw is turning the nose left or right. and roll is spinning allong the z axis. The term rotation could mean any of these.
