What does the \"full version\" do, that the free one does not?

The current \"Paid\" version gets you Starmade and all future Starmade work. In other words, it\'s a pre-paid purchase so you\'ll never pay any more for anything else released for Starmade from now until the end of time; in case they release something for it that requires payment. There is currently no difference between a paid and free version aside from a few symbols that show up under your forum avatar saying you supported the game. The price used to be $3, but now it\'s $6.

Minecraft used to be dirt cheap to pre-order but shot up to $25 after the official release. So if Starmade is running anything similar it\'d behoove you to buy yours early.
