I know that AI has some changes coming up eventually but am not sure what all of those changes will be. To that end I have a suggestion. AI groups and the AI Remote.

The idea is to be able to assign Bobby AI modules to groups. This way you can set all of your different turrets to easier to manage groups through an expanded menu in the AI modules. It could have the ability to name the groups for easy reference. Basically, you could set all of your main cannon/whatever to one group in their respective AI module menus, set your AMS to another group, and other various types to separate groups to make them easier to control. The groups could then be toggled from the AI tab while in the core As it stands right now, when in a ship you can toggle the AI on or off and set all AI's target priorities. This would allow a player to set separate priorities for different sets of AI. You would get all of this when pressing the AI tab while in the core, just like now.

The second idea is that of the AI Remote/AI Receiver block. This block is the same thing as stated above but for stations, which don't have a core. These could have the expanded function of being able to control all faction AI within the sector, if set to groups. In order to set ships running on AI to a group, they would need an AI Receiver module attached to the controlling Bobby AI module, like linking weapons. The groups would then have to be created by naming the AI receivers to the same name, then creating the group by naming it in the AI Remote block. After that, it would work like using the normal AI tab from a ship core. Or perhaps, the ships could be required to have a faction permission module linked to the controlling AI module instead of creating the AI Receiver module. All ships linked would still need to have a faction module on board, set to the station's faction for it to work. These could also be put on ships for controlling a an AI fleet.
