Advanced Build Mode

I've started making really big ships and I'm finding that advanced build modes 10 block limit is... well... a bit limited. Do you think that in future updates there will be modification of the 10 block limit? Or do you think that it would ruin the game?

I recall reading somewhere about someone modifying the limit in the game files, so it is apparently something the players can do...
