My suggestion is basically what it says on the subject line: An IRC relay that can allow admins to communicate with players or be made aware of there being a need for an admin. I have seen multiple games do this, and having it makes it far easier to admin as you do not need to remain in game 24-7 or dig through countless logs to find if something went wrong.

Config-wise it would need 3 entries afaik: name on the IRC server, irc server address, and channel name.
