    so the other day i was building the heart of gold and i thought oh man i want to save my ship just in case and so i did but i realised my blueprints were getting crowded with crafts called heart of gold initial commit, heart of gold commit 2, heart of gold commit 10, boromir class battleship commit 20

    and im like i need to do something about this so i spend 1/2 hour deleting them and accidentally delete the latest version of my yettobenamedcargoship fortunately i had a version loaded in but that was close so im suggestig adding a WIP tab in the catalogue where you can save unfinished ships in groups but it will either appear in the blueprints after finishing or you can have it that it is in the catalogue but it has a wip sign and when you spawn it in it will use the latest (or chosen version)
    the advantage of this is that you can revert to an older version of your build and when saving not worry about making the catalogue cluttered there can also be an option to delete all the commits with one click and t be afraid of losing the latest version

    I use a simple naming convention for my blueprint versions.
    I prefix with LP for Lone_Puppy, then I separate structure name, version number and then place and international date range at the end with date and time (24hr clock - no seconds). Example, LP_CargoShip_01_201703090840, The IDR is 2017-Mar-09 at 0840 hours.
    That way they automatically sort chronologically in any list and on disk. Plus you can see when you made the last save.

    Further examples;

    LP_BattleBot_01_201703090855 (First save of new build at 8:55am 9-Mar-2017)
    LP_BattleBot_01_201703090931 (Second save 36mins later)
    LP_BattleBot_02_201703092015 (Made a distinct design change at 8:15pm later that night, why version increments)
    [doublepost=1489002642,1489002447][/doublepost]The prefixing is optional and I mainly use this for when on a server.

    I would love this. I would also love a ship design game mode where I don't get rammed by klutzy AIs. LOL
