I Suggest you give the crew job levels if there not maxed on that job they have to level up doing that job that way their not perfect drivers or turret operators Turret operators - exp from destroying enemies Pilots - from distance traveled not sure all the jobs your going to have for them...

maybe they can incorporate a few of those ruins into the game so not all planets are barren of course some planets could have a acidic atmosphere to cold or to hot making them unlivable just like the real deal
