My idea is this: A program that would let us take a 3d object file (.obj , .3ds , .max, etc) and convert it into a skin for our astronaut. The easist versions would be 3ds and .obj as they are more accessible.
It would work something like this: I have a .obj file and textures of a character...
I like building large ships but would like a viewscreen. Maybe we could have a block that would let us place a 8x10 white space. The white space would be linked to a folder, in the folder we could place a png or jpg image, that image would display on the white space. All 2x2 would be the same...
