OMG! Thank you very much! This was the problem all along! All cannons firing from wrong positions or not firing is the result of this issue!

I actually think that the current list is okay if the weapons interact. For instance: Anti-matter next to ice will make a weapon that reduces engine speed. Anti-matter next to lava will make a weapon that pierce shielding. Harvesting beam next to power drain will bypass shields and...
