I'm gitting lag when I look at any big structure(planets, space stations, etc...). The game goes down to 1 fps when I look at them but when I turn around and look at nothing my game fps jumps back up. Please help, what can I do to fix this?

The only problem i have with the game is I start to lag when i get close to any big struture(planets, space stations, etc...) but im guessing thats for not having java 64bit not installed.
