In general, what are the limits for any given piece of equipment? like...I know there's a speed limit, is there limtis on the weapons systems as well, or will their values grow with every block I place?

I know this sounds like a weird question to post for a sandbox game, but.......What is there to do in this game? I mean....what kinds of servers are there, what is the typical MO to expect, just in general, what do you do?
