Space just feels empty without aliens trying to kill you

Anybody else feel like there should be native aliens or something to the planets we visit in the game? I think it would be so cool is Schema would add some sort of mob that lives on planets, since there is already pirates and interplanetary mobs like that. I just feel that aliens on planets...

Last time I played Starmade on a server, me and my friend always got blown up by other players even though we weren't looking for trouble. It gets annoying when you make a nice ship and it gets blown up. Help?

I've been playing starmade and when I find a pirate base, I find these logbooks that I can't find anywhere else and its really hard for me to get some more because their only found in pirate bases (to my knowledge anyways) I really like using these things to keep track of where I'm going...
