      For me anyways, the java version I had was 32 bit when I have a 64 bit OS. The java on the homepage to download is 32 bit. Everything worked again after I installed the 64 bit version. Hope this helps!

      Whenever I run the starter exe, it has a pop-up saying "The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Environment installation or the runtime is corrupted.
