As Edymnion has said, optimization will likely come after the Universe update (which has been promised to come with a LOT of exciting content.) While the game lacks optimization, Schema has been working feverishly to finish Power 2.0 and Weapons 2.0. Integrity is not really that buggy any more...

The general idea of configs is that people can change what they want and form communities around their changes. If you want to tinker with the configs on your SP world, be my guest. But, the point of 'oh, it'll mess with ships if they share them!' Labels, are a thing.

You can take that view all you want, but: I'm most assuredly still playing the game that i'm telling people to stop complaining about. Something reeks of alt account in this thread. Can't quite pin my finger on it, though.

I'm doubtful everyone agrees that power 2.0 is bad. It seems to be an extremely vocal minority.

A lot of people are upset over power 2.0, but ignore that Schema conveniently allowed us to change our own configs with a text editor. This is a detailed study of blockconfig, and what the various change options. I will not cover anything in the configs that is marked as old, or to be removed...

The mindset of 'change is bad' is strongly present here. just a reminder. Starmade > data > configs. Have fun tweaking the laws of nature to your desires. The new systems can be changed with the tweak of a few variables. I advise getting notepad++ for this. As for the 'the laws of nature...

I see people yelling about things instead of fixing them. I'm more than a little irritated by the lack of people willing to do more than scream at the devs.
