+1, removing the dampening effect that happens as the aiming reticule gets close to the cursor would also work wonders. With big ships it's impossible to aim at a target while making slight direction adjustments because the ship turns abysmally slow due to it slowing down as it gets closer to...

Not for me, but that's mostly because it strains the server so much that I have to wait in order for everything to be calculated, which doesn't happen with asteroids.

A ton of scifi ships and real life crafts (like the SR-71) are phallus shaped and they still look good. Tbh I wouldn't worry about it too much.

They do, but if you make a ball turret that doesn't collide with the walls even if it's moving then it'd work fine.

That numer is supposed to be a lot higher, according to the config. So basically, it's bugged again (unless there was a stealth nerf which wouldn't even surprise me anymore since complete changelogs seem to be too hard for Schine at times...)

As far as I know power supply beams weren't changed. I did notice a lag increase from them though...

Power supply beams are horrible since the last update, they drop my fps from around 100 to 20 (while looking at nothing). That's with 40 beams firing at once for my reactors. On the other hand, 274 damage beams fired at once only drop it to around 40 (and that's understandable).

You could use enemy detection logic with turrets like Thalanor made (which doesn't clip when going back in no matter it's position). Set it up so that it stays out while an enemy is detected. For some enemy detection logic, look at the logic community content page. For the turrets look at...

Tbh I'm almost considering using the old docking system until all the bugs with turrets get fixed. They're pretty unusable atm, and that really hurts considering that a good portion of my firepower is generally in turrets.

Very well said. In addition it's worth noting that cover doesn't mean much when you have missiles that can arch over buildings and slam the soft topside of targets. And the added agility of a mech wouldn't mean much, you can't dodge a well aimed RPG. Seriously, rockets irl accelerate insanely fast.
