Disagree It would result in needing to grind to get skills aswell as ships every time you get started. Would also mean if you join the server to play with a faction, you'll need to grind to get caught up and operate ships properly, rather than it being based on pilot and builder skill. Also...

being in 0.199 doesn't mean shit. Schine has this knack of wanting certain numbers to be significant updates, and so as we get closer and closer, the version number will keep getting longer without ticking over to 0.2. It could be another year before we hit 0.2. 0.19498 came out on 21/11/2015

They want interiors and boarding to be a thing. Hence the future crew system. The majority of the community is strongly against doomcubes, and thinks mean things towards doomcubes with fancy hulls (ships just stuffed with blocks and the bare minimum interior) I have a proper question schine...
