The shipyard is a commercial station that will be both a port with civilian mooring scaffold as well as a shipyard that produces commercial contracts that range from Keel Boats and Skiffs right up to and including Destroyers and industrial giants. No specific plans at this point, it is...
Tonight Kulbolen helped me to fix this issue, as did Snowtiger and Crusade.
In particular Kulbolen provided me with a clean copy of the folder I needed, which resolved the broken game issue.
However the invisible blocks issue shown in the above post persisted.
I sent a copy of the blueprint to...
ooooo that looks nice... looks like you could make a carrier-style under-pad access where techs can run about underneath and pop up through ramps/hatches to access the ships on the pad without interfering with ships landing/launching.
Support has responded, Andy Puttmann recommends that I delete and then re-download using the repair feature the folder "starmade>data>config" and all contents.
Except that to re-download it I need to remove it. And I'm using a work computer which for some stupid reason has me locked out of...
Erk!
A bug!
Quick! Squash it!
So I have somehow managed to generate a miniature bermuda triangle on my station.
There's a glitch in the matrix...
Within the secondary hangar on Module #8 (which is a mirrored copy and paste of the hangar on Module #3), the glass and mesh have decided to not...
Aegis Class AMAS MkII rapidfire turret defense.
A cPho Corporation initiative.
The Aegis Class MkII compact AMAS turret ("Anti Missile Attack System") is specifically designed to rapidly track and take down incoming missiles and is compatible with almost any application.

You're right.
Feedback is good but can be achieved via screenshots, discussion threads, and Youtubes.
Early browsing of an incomplete station that results in anyone not seeing the final result is self-defeating. Good feedback, thanks.
I will (on completion of this station) be looking for a...
A thought.
Bare with me here.
I'm considering making this an open project.... in other words publishing it as a WIP which I update periodically as I make milestone steps.
I feel this would be nice in that it would allow anyone interested to be able to plop it in their world and experiment...
Will be a very interesting ship once it's complete and flying.
Will it have a compliment of drones, fighters, or bombers?
Or leave it empty so ppl can populate it themselves?
Has the idea ever been explored where planets are compartmentalized?
Like worlds (overworld, underworld, the end) in minecraft or instances in other games.
Positives:
Less lag in space instance.
Can make the world flat and really frikken big like a minecraft level.
Can introduce a bunch of...
Currently working on greeble on the outside of the station, to break up the surfaces a bit more...
The tower of the hangar module on either side of the station is primarily responsible for the processing and redistribution of the fluids and atmospheric life support systems. While most of...
You think this is too many turrets? I have spawned in several pirates a few different times now, and they all fire at them (most I spawned so far is 7 pirate ships). There is not any lag that I can see...? The biggest thing that slows my computer down is when I'm pasting huge modules in.
I...
Yes I save often.
This wasn't a server problem, it was intentional - well an experiment really.
Due to the role-playing method of building this where I have "states" of build-progress for modules, I work on one or two of the modules, and then copy these states over onto other modules to update...
I dunno about you guys, but I would love it if you could undock a turret with an offset you could specify (something like 10 - 75m) so that it spawned a little above where it's spose to be docked... allowing you to edit the mother docking point without having to delete the turret, or respawn and...
