if a user doesnt specifically set certain blueprints as "use" or "dont use",all blueprints are fair game and will be used as pirate ships I believe,
also once we get the factions update,and each faction gets their own folder for custom ships,I assume we will get more cool config options for his.
Well,dont know what exactly are the server confighs on that server,but on my SP server I was attacked by 20 pirates couple of times while building.

not sure if he (Skooma) even started optimizing this,but I agree (as a heavy copy/paste user) that chunk updating for pasted entities are horribly laggy and potential server killers if you try to paste something large hahah,kinda wierd it doesnt update it like it would update a normal ship...
would be cool to see plex lights flicker or completely go off along with all logic when the ship core systems are damaged badly,I think its not only feasible,but it also should not be super hard to implement :D but thats just crazy ol skylord talking
I would be quite happy with predetermined options for AI in ships,like attack on sight,escort,scout,defend,etc.
But honestly,as a huge fan of homeworld..that would be amazing to be able to manage your fleets like that :D
