Can I still use shops if I blow up trader stations?

I've been happily blowing up the pirate stations in my home sector, but haven't touched the non-shop trader stations that are cluttering up my home system. I'd really like to get rid of them too, but....

I still need to sell stuff for credits, and I kinda like being able to grab the bits and pieces that aren't worth the trouble of setting up production chains.

So, if I blow up those stations, will the traders go to war with me thereby making selling at shops impossible, or can I clean them away without fear of losing my only source of credits?

Even if you attack the Trading guild they will always stay neutral towards you. It just takes a while before they "forgive" you. Normally just running away will work.

beware that on certain server, such as feedupyourbeast (which is the server I am admin on) have it so that trading guild declares war on hostile action.

Currently, just run away. If you have a jump drive, jump away. They'll turn neutral to you again.

In the future, with multiple AI factions to trade, war, and ally with, this may change.
