hey guys someone made a meme compass test like that political compass test thing. its probably not a accurate measurement of your taste in memes, hell you guys might even find it cringy but I found it at the very least amusing. Meme Compass

a nice happy balance of being a normie and dank while being slightly more edgy. Was a bit surprised by that.

I have a dream that one day this forum will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all memes are created equal."

I have a dream that my fellow users will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their quadrant but by the content of their reply folders.

I think I put far more thought into this test than the people who made it. For example this question:
    • Incoming Harvard students were kicked out for sharing memes on a Facebook group. The memes mocked sexual assault, the Holocaust, child abuse and contained racial slurs. They deserved their punishment.
First, that's hard to say without having seen the memes. The next thing is, one could argue that someone who posts things that are guaranteed to bring the PC police up against them from a non-anonymous account is too stupid for Harvard. Also, is being unemployed really a punishment compared to having a big student loan to pay back AND being unemployed?

Furthermore, if I don't like a dank meme of mediocre quality not because it's dank but because it's just not good, that doesn't mean I don't like dank memes. All the questions about the quality of sample memes are highly subjective and thus useless. And the test is generally unfit for people with nuanced opinions.
