      I would love to see this allow us to view layers of the ships, IE having an option to remove all the hull, shields. so on even if it is only visually. I would love to be able to dissect a ship without having to do so in game.

      (correct me please) As i understand it joining any of the AI factions causes them to go buggy, screws with random spawns kills the AI pilots ect.

      Bingo! Some scenarios in mind were, having "The Empire" with a fully built home base which would have also acted as the faction home, IE Death Star. Or simply having space police, that existed beyond the boundaries of the shops as i have shops set to rare.

      My best tip is to go download some of the better ships off of here and rip them apart to learn how their systems work first hand. That's how I learned the basics of large scale power arrays and systems.
