I like the items you mentioned, especially an Astro-log. It would be quite interesting to be able to set interest points and keep track of places you\'d like to go to.

Different sounds, animations and weapon colours can easily be replaced in the files, and can be shared by friends.

I don\'t see how this would be impossible, but it definately isn\'t that effective. Most of the game takes place in space, hence the name. Besides, what would they do? Walk around? Maybe fire weapons? They would be blasted to pieces of ships.
