This was a joy to read and the ships look cool. (Plus I\'m from New Zealand, and the kiwi is our national bird) keep up the good work! :D

Just remember that space ( where your ship spends most of its time) is much colder than anything else, so comparatively, an ice planet would be like a warm day. Instead, I think that flying too close to a sun could damage computers, due to radiation and heat.

Chairs, veiwscreens ( best idea in my opinion), and blocks that let you remotely open doors, and lock them, so you can control all the doors on your ship, while standing next to the captains chair, and watching your prisoners, who are trapped in their cells, from the veiwscreens in your bridge...

Flying D\'s originonal post give me the impression that war between factions would be almost \"banned\", for lack of a better word. I personally don\'t like this idea, as having faction rivalries, and besting other factions in wars and space battles is 95% of the fun of being part of a faction...

I play dark Eldar, but when ever I play against neurons, I have noticed that there fighter tent to have horizontal crescent moons incorporated into their designs. The large ships also tend to have pyramids near the rear of the ship, and I recon a pyramid would make a cool bridge for your ship...

I really like the design of that mining ship. hope to see some sweet capital ships soon.

It would be cool having ion missiles that do damage to shields in the blast radius of the explosion, for taking out turret shields.
