I've recently noticed, along with a whole lot of widely complained about bugs about AI, that AI don't fight back until blocks are actually damaged, they do not react until the shields have been breached, which is very annoying =.=

I don\'t think that there should be stargates, but rather an FTL drive, which can only be used by larger ships. In any scifi movie/book ever, small fighters have never been able to FTL jump, but large carriers can.
That way ships wouldn\'t be aesthetically pleasing, and most ship designs that look awesome would be rendered totally impractical in a combat situation.

How about we are able to sell out ships directly back to the shop without having to take them apart first because I usually just take my ship apart and then sell the pieces
