      Anyone noticed that overdrive effect does not add up to block count of weapons? This makes it almost useless. To be more precise, it does not add up to total block count when calculating damage. However, it does add up to block count when calculating power consumption.

Back on topic: Yeah we need those directional thrusters, starmade needs that, common sense screams for that, DO IT! And btw, the GUI solution...

      Maybe it could be done without wireless logic if the docked entity can be considered completely part of the ship, this would simplify all calculs. I hope it is feasible and if it is I see no reason not to implement it cause this would just be pure awesome!

      Who said I did not try? IRL, weapons are designed for different purposes: long range, close quarter, self defense, mass destruction etc... In the current implementation of starmade weapons are just designed to do damage, there is no real reason to use one or the other except personal taste...

      Maybe... but I think it will always be less effective than other weapons for damage. It is true that I haven't used it a lot so I would appreciate if you guys could share a few examples of how you use it.

      This si an overly complicated solution. Why not just add the number of blocks of the module to the total of the ship? The idea here is that, when docked, the module is part of the ship, it is not considered another entity anymore. As said earlier, it would be just like adding those blocks...

      Nope, you are still thinking modules = no weight. If module adds weight then it can add everything no problem, it is a part of the ship. Same goes for turrets. The issue with sending data back and forth might be worked around by considering the module simply as part of the ship, it is 1 ship...

      And so many more things. I was actually doing a cloaking device whith concentric rotating elypsoids so you can dock your ship in the middle and it is cloacked. But power is not transfered from one part to the other so I can never get enough power to cloak...
