I've encountered this same problem. I attempted to repair the game, which allowed me to fully update AND get on the server of my choice. There were some...side effects howeverAnd that was just white hull! So yeah, it didn't work, but in a very interesting way.

HI! I downloaded starmade about two months ago today (7/7/13) and have been a fan ever since. I love it. I have one suggestion, however. The addition of weapons. Just something simpl such as a raygun, or complex items such as rifles with scops, and even some physics. -N0_FACE
