I have 64, 128, and 256 folders under Default, but only a 64 folder under Pixel. Changing the texture pack option (under Graphics) to Default actually lets me play the game (no sound, though)!
Sorry about the slow response, it's been a busy few days for me. Anyway, I don't see either of those folders, and I'm not seeing any .zip files either. Any idea on where else I should look?
I have no clue what to make of this, but the game keeps trying to load textures from a path that doesn't make any sense (and Java comes up with ResourceException errors).

Interesting. Launching the game directly (instead of using the starter) worked perfectly, but launching the game through the starter doesn't work. Maybe there's something up with my starter?
There's no logfile, so I guess there's some form of incompatibility? IDK, I don't think I'm doing anything differently for this install. I even have the same drivers for my video card (NVIDIA binary driver, version 352.63, marked "proprietary, tested").
Problem: The launcher comes up fine, but once the game is updated and ready to go, hitting Start Game doesn't do anything. The launcher closes itself and no new processes come up.
Info: System specs aren't important since I ran the game just fine a month ago, but that was an unintentional hard...
Simple.
1. With your astronaut, fly right up to the derelict.
2. Right-click it for a second, not long enough to start salvaging.
3. When the prompt comes up that you can buy the station, hit M. If you're short on credits, it'll tell you instead of putting you into debt.
