I had the same problem with my laptop. After a restart there should appear a message, that there are problems with the drivers of your graphic card. Updating the drivers helped in my case.
By the way it seems that I can\'t join the server at the moment although others do chat on the server chat. It says the server is not reacting for a very long time (like billions of seconds) :S
What I was meaning is that you should have to place a Hyperspace coordinate block or something like that and only these are valid destination for a hyperspace flight.
So first you have to be near one Hyperspace block and you have to target another one. And then you can trigger the Hyperspace...
Maybe two places in the universe which are already known could be connected via a hyperspace route manually at a high cost. And then space ships could travel these routes as far as no enemies are blocking them.
This sounds for me like the Microblocks of the Redpower Mod for Minecraft.
I think it would slow the game down a bit. In my opinion furniture which is blocksized but with a different 3D-Model would be a better solution to create a nice flair on space ships.
I reckon the enemies are saved the same way as your ship is saved. So quitting the game doesn\'t solve the problem with the pirate ships, because they don\'t despawn when quitting.
In this situation probably the only way of avoiding them is trying to escape. But since all ships have the same...
I would recommend using Hamachi unless you want to adjust the settings of your router. You can easily create one or two networks for your crewmates to join. Then you host the server locally and the others who are in your network(s) simply connect via your Hamachi IP.
Ships under 5 mass are too small to show a radar signature (permanent radar jam, without a Jammer)
This sounds like a pretty good idea. But I would rather prefer that the ship\'s mass should determine the range in which the ship marker is shown.
