      Oxygen...In Starmade? I would never come back to this game. At least, not unless there was a way to disable that option. My opinion? Get that modding api out so we can make this a mod.

      Nope. No No No No No No No. Please no. I was thinking you were talking about making nebulas that jammed radar or cloaks, and asteroid fields that were simply asteroid fields (when we collide with a planet, our ship doesn't explode)

      I do agree with somehow making the smaller ships better, but you are breaking ships. If you make it so that ships no longer produce as much energy in some way, shape or form, you are gonna have ships break from that loss of power.

      This would penalize big ships and possibly break many of them, so I do not like this idea, and besides, people would need a LOT more energy blocks, making ships even bigger. Perhaps make it so that energy providing blocks have tiers and each tier doubles the output of the last?

      Solution: Have it calculate the stuff in the background, not even needing the area to be loaded. Or we could have it so that once the areais rendered it calculates it. So, kind of like jayman38 's idea.

      Heeeeeeeyyyyyy!!!! That song is "old". Anyways, this game could totally use some FPS action, but maybe after all the actual ship stuff is worked out, and we need a reason to shoot at others personally instead of using big, gigantic ships.

      Calling someone's opinion stupid is severely limiting. True, most things can be modified through config, but how does making multiple shields instead of one giant shield do anything but decrease efficiency? As the OP says, there is a 10 second cooldown before the latest shield destroyed is...
